The arrogance of any " music fan" to suggest that the Buckingham/Nicks era pandered to the under18 brigade is astonishing. My favourite version of the band was with Peter Green and Danny Kirwan in tandem, but all the line-ups had their merits. I don't need to make daft statements to validate my preference.

Does anybody remember seeing Chris Arnet''s band The Shades? Pretty sure it was the FIRST punk show in Vancouver at the Blue Boy Hotel. I was there with Jim Bescott from the Young Canadians. I think Art Bergman was still in the Schmorgs at that time.

Bob Welch brought so much to this band, songwriting, singing, and guitar, I always thought this version of Mac should have had their own induction into the hall of fame.

Interesting...typically they sound more like the more famous CSNY. Not much jangle 12-string electric that defined The Byrds. Not hip, I guess.

This set was available as the bootleg "Will the Real Fleetwood Mac Please Stand Up?" After Mick sacked Bob Weston, for sleeping with Jenny, the band was on hiatus, and their then manager Clifford Davies put a fake band together to tour the states. Hence, Bob Welch's comments at the start of Rattlesnake Shake. This led to a year long legal dispute.

ⒶlieNation, November 1977 - November 1981, was Naomi Ruth Eisenberg (vocals and violin), Peter Antrim (Fogel) (guitar and vocals); I was listed as Linda Crowds to indicate I was (stupidly) married to the bass player, who used the fake name Drew Crowds because he's a putz. He f'd me over so many times my head spun. He's either dead or in the Bronx or both. So be it.

LOL, Dude!.... 18 Year old crowd? I'll have you know I was25 when I engineered the Trod Nossel live recordings in 1975. I have to say, the new kids had barely had time to learn their parts, in a couple cases it sounded like they were winging the harms. I did the band monitors and a small hi-fi front end for the 75 'Lucky Ticket Winners. We had the monitors diagonally across the studio floor, the band on one side and the audience on the other. I have all but 2 or 3 tunes up on my channel, it's a copy made in the stations production room from the master. October 23, 1975 Enjoy! ruclips.net/p/PL0y35ofq-KLSOyf2Jk0x54IoIt9xB9kw6
